What’s an FHA loan?  They vary from a conventional loan on a couple of points – and we’re gonna share a few of them today!  We love being able to offer them because they can help tackle hurdles that keep people out of purchasing their perfect home.  See if it sounds like an option for you!

So what’s an FHA loan?

FHA stands for Federal Housing Association, which backs any FHA loan.  This means that lenders get a reduced risk in offering you a loan, because the FHA can help cover losses should you go into foreclosure.

What does that mean for me?

It means that with an FHA loan, you can usually get a better rate and lower down payment than what you could qualify for under a conventional loan.  Basically, we love it because it helps more families afford the home their family needs!  These are the stories we love the best – when someone calls us with a tough situation, we never say no because it’s hard.  We always fight to offer the best we can.

Who is the best candidate for an FHA loan?

FHA loans are designed to help those with poor credit history, which makes it ideal for those whose credit has hit a hard time or young people looking to buy their first home without as much credit established.

Do you apply to the FHA directly?

Nope, we handle that for you! The FHA works with FHA-approved lenders instead of working with you directly.  United Faith Mortgage is approved, so if you think you’re a good candidate, we can work with you!

I’m interested.  What’s next?

FHA loans have both fixed and adjustable rate options, and rates will vary by applicant.  Give us a call and we can help you decide what’s best for you and your family!

Why call us? We’re faith-based and family-focused, with the same values we grew up with still applied to everything we do.  We’d love to help you and your family get into the home you’ve been dreaming of – and an FHA loan can help us say YES where you may have only heard no before. As a direct lender, we have a lot more control that can really benefit YOU!  Read a little more about our direct lender advantage here.  We can’t wait to hear from you!

Best,
