- New England (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine): Late September to mid-October. Famous for sugar maples and rolling hillsides.
- The Blue Ridge Parkway (North Carolina & Virginia): Early to mid-October. A winding drive through the Appalachian Mountains with vibrant views.
- Great Smoky Mountains (Tennessee & North Carolina): Mid-October to early November. A diverse mix of tree species offers a long season of color.
- Upper Peninsula of Michigan: Late September to early October. Dense forests meet the Great Lakes for a dramatic backdrop.
