If you’re like me, you’ve already thought more than once, “Man, Christmas just isn’t going to be the same this year.”
Our famous family Christmas Eve dinner isn’t going to be as famous.
My annual shopping day with mom — will be online.
Carolers won’t be stopping. Parties not popping. The Nutcracker’s not dancing.
And Santa’s — gonna be masked up?
And then I catch myself and say, “Dude. Get over yourself.”
Because even though this Christmas might SEEEEM a little less “holly and jolly”, it is without a doubt —— still Christmas. The part of Christmas where God sent his son, also to not-so-perfect conditions, FOR ME.
I’m gonna do my best to keep reminding myself of that thru the Holidays.
