It’s often a surprise to many of our first-time home buyers that their pre-approval letter will need renewed after a few months. Because mortgage lenders (like ourselves) are gathering information that has the potential to change month-to-month – like bank statements, credit scores, etc. – it’s important that we keep this information up-to-date.

The good news is, this is normal in the house buying process. In a buyer’s market, you may find your home in a few weeks or months. But if you’re in a seller’s market, it can take months or even years to find a home, so you may need multiple pre-approvals during the process.

Simply put, you’ll need as many pre-approvals as it takes for you to find your new home, and we’d be honored to walk that journey with you and answer all your questions.

We know the process can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re new to home-buying.

If you’re just looking to talk through your situation, know we’re here! One of our core values is NEVER PRESSURING. It’d be our pleasure to share everything we know and give the best advice we can, with a guaranteed zero pressure.
