Our fridges are stuffed with Thanksgiving leftovers.  As a general rule of thumb, we try to use leftovers within three days.  But what if you have at least 3 days of leftovers?  We have some ideas to avoid the doldrums of eating the same thing 5 meals in a row.

Thanksgiving Leftovers – Recreated!

Most Creative:

Leftover Mashed Potato Pizza!  Spread leftover mashed potatoes over a pizza crust.  Sprinkle a little extra garlic, some shredded cheese, cubed leftover turkey or bacon and pop in the oven!

Most Homey:

Turkey pot pie is always an easy favorite.  Literally you can through practically all of your thanksgiving leftovers in a pot pie – especially that extra gravy!  Another idea is the classic thanksgiving leftover casserole – one of my personal favorites.

For a Blustery Day:

As Winnie the Pooh would say… it’s a blustery day!  So what’s the best way to warm up with those thanksgiving leftovers?  Move over cold turkey sandwich.  We found a recipe for Turkey Veggie Soup with Stuffing Dumplings, and I’m dying to try it. Check out the recipe on the Food Network here!

For Breakfast:

Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast?  I know, I was skeptical too – but some of these ideas look amazing!  Try a turkey and potato skillet hash with cheese and an over-easy egg.  Or breakfast sandwiches made with turkey and cranberry sauce on waffles.  Doesn’t sound half bad, right?

We hope you all had a marvelous Thanksgiving!  We’re so thankful for every one of you  that we’ve gotten to work with over this past year – and we’re looking forward to all the friends we’ll meet this upcoming year.  Enjoy your families and your cozy homes this weekend!

Best,

Audrey
