You’ve packed up the dishes and the towels. And your throw pillows and dresses.
But what about some of those open containers, like your makeup or jewelry trays, your kids’ toy bins, or your silverware organizers?
Wrap open containers with plastic wrap.
You’ll be able to see what’s inside each container, and you’ll eliminate the need to reorganize anything that falls out when your items inevitably get tossed around in the moving truck.
And if you’re nervous about makeup brushes or other items getting squished, place them on top of books, towels, or other flat objects in one of your handy plastic moving bins.
And remember – when it all looks a little overwhelming and you don’t think you’ll ever cross the “moving finish line” – it’ll eventually get done. Somehow it always does.
